Perry Tuttle was a Clemson football standout and is known for the game winning catch in 1981 that gave the Tigers the National Championship and landed Tuttle on the cover of
Sports Illustrated. His career continued into the
National Football League (
Buffalo Bills,
Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and
Atlanta Falcons) and
Canadian Football League (
Winnipeg Blue Bombers). Now, he is known for his inspirational speaking, sports marketing, and
sports ministry.
Perry joined me to talk about his days at Clemson and how that 1981 team helped form the foundation that has allowed Clemson football to continue to succeed.
