Tragedy in Minneapolis: Catholic School Shooting Leaves Two Children Dead as Democrats Push “Weapons of War” Narrative
Two children were killed and seventeen others injured after a mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis during a back-to-school Mass—an attack that has shocked the nation and sparked a fresh wave of Democratic gun control demands.
As details continue to emerge, Americans are once again being forced to confront not only the violence—but the political fallout and media spin that inevitably follow.

What We Know About the Shooter: A Chilling, Ideologically Motivated Attack
The shooter has been identified as Robin Westman, a 23-year-old transgender individual formerly known as Robert Westman. Authorities say Westman opened fire through the stained-glass windows of the school with a rifle during a Catholic Mass, targeting students, parents, and teachers in an act of calculated evil.
What’s more disturbing are the videos and journals left behind:
- Gun magazines were scrawled with phrases like “Kill Donald Trump” and “For the children”.
- Westman’s 20-minute manifesto glorified other mass shooters and detailed how to maximize casualties.
- The attack was clearly premeditated and ideologically driven—with disturbing anti-Trump and anti-religious themes.
This was not a case of random violence. This was an act of targeted hate.
Media Silence and the Politicized Narrative
Had the shooter been wearing a MAGA hat or posting pro-Trump messages online, this would dominate every front page in America. Instead, key facts are being buried.
The mainstream media has been remarkably quiet about the shooter’s anti-conservative rhetoric, focusing instead on renewed calls for gun control—not the radicalization, mental health failure, or the rising hostility toward faith communities.
This is exactly why people are turning away from legacy media and looking to independent voices for the whole story.
Democrats Immediately Pivot to Gun Control
Within hours, Democratic leaders took to social media:
- Senator Chuck Schumer: “We must do more to stop gun violence in America.”
- House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries: “Weapons of war have no place in our schools.”
- Rep. Shri Thanedar: Called for “sensible gun control.”
But while the calls for legislation poured in, there was zero mention of the shooter’s trans identity, anti-Trump messaging, or targeting of a Catholic institution. The narrative has already been framed—and inconvenient facts are being quietly ignored.
Meanwhile, Republicans offered prayers and support for victims, emphasizing the need for honest dialogue about mental health, school security, and ideological extremism—not another round of ineffective restrictions on lawful gun owners.
Kamala’s $15 Million Problem: DNC Bailing Out a Failed Campaign
In a separate Axios bombshell, we’ve learned that the DNC has spent over $15 million this year alone to pay off Kamala Harris’ failed 2024 campaign debts.
Harris raised and spent over $1.5 billion in her race against Donald Trump—and lost every single swing state. Now, instead of fundraising to help Democrats win key races in 2026, the party is funneling resources into a financial black hole.
Even worse, Harris isn’t even helping repay the debt. Axios reports she’s held a handful of underwhelming events and let the DNC use her email list—raising a disappointing amount in return. Meanwhile, Trump and the GOP are out-raising and out-organizing Democrats nationwide.
This speaks volumes about the leadership gap inside the Democratic Party.
DNC Infighting: Is South Carolina About to Be Demoted in 2028?
The DNC is also gearing up for a showdown over its 2028 presidential primary calendar—and South Carolina’s spot at the front of the line is at risk.
In 2024, Joe Biden elevated South Carolina to first-in-the-nation status as a reward for the state’s support in 2020. But now that Biden’s out, some top Democrats want to push South Carolina further down the list—and elevate states like Nevada, Georgia, or North Carolina instead.
This has South Carolina Democrats crying foul, with former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison warning the party not to erase the voters who’ve consistently chosen the eventual nominee.
At the heart of this fight is a struggle between the party’s establishment Black voter base and its progressive activist wing—a clash that could split the party ahead of 2028.
The Takeaway: Evil Is Real. Leadership Matters.
The Minneapolis Catholic school shooting is a stark reminder that evil is real—and it won’t be solved by knee-jerk legislation or empty hashtags.
While Democrats politicize tragedy, bury inconvenient facts, and mismanage their own internal crises, conservatives must stay focused on:
- Defending faith and family
- Protecting constitutional rights
- Restoring truth in media and politics
- Supporting communities in times of tragedy
- Building a culture that values life, not glorifies violence
And as we watch Kamala Harris burn through campaign cash while the DNC scrambles to fix its primary chaos, let’s remember what real leadership looks like. Because when the Left fails to lead, it’s up to us—patriots, believers, and everyday Americans—to stand in the gap.
