JA Titan is one of the many JA Programs offered and allows students to operate a virtual company through a Web-based simulation. The students’ success depends on decisions about their product’s price and their company’s marketing, research and development, and business practices. Win or lose, students gain an understanding of how management decisions affect a company’s bottom line. I had the chance to sit down with Frank Starosto, a long-time volunteer and Immediate Past Board Chair and talk about the importance of JA and the impact they are having on students in Upstate SC.
