Pat McKinney

Pat McKinney is a lifelong businessman, strong ally of Governor Nikki Haley and a dedicated conservative leader.  John Warren announced in May that Pat would be joining him as his running mate. You can see the announcement video here.  McKinney’s 40 plus-year career in business included leading real estate development in Hilton Head, Charleston, Kiawah Island and Isle of Palms. He now serves on the board of directors for several South Carolina businesses.

In addition to his business experience, McKinney has served his community and state for decades – including serving on the board of directors for Water Mission, Furman University, Turning Point Ministries, First Tee of Greater Charleston, the South Carolina Club for Growth, the Charleston Leadership Foundation, Palmetto Promise Institute and the Original Six Foundation.

Pamela Evette

Pamela Evette brings more than 20 years of financial management, compliance and controller experience and an entrepreneurial spirit as President/CEO of Quality Business Solutions.

A trained accountant and former CFO, Evette’s primary expertise is in building payroll and HR management firms that provide a service under which an employer can outsource employee management tasks, such as payroll, employee benefits and workers’ compensation, recruiting, risk/safety management and training and development.

Evette is blessed with an incredible family support structure. Her husband, David, shares her vision and supports her goals unfailingly. They built their successful business brick-by-brick together and are partners in business and life.

A native of Ohio and the mother of three, Evette holds a B.A. in business administration, accounting and finance from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. After moving to South Carolina in 2005, she and her husband live in Travelers Rest and enjoy spending time with their children as well as her mother, Jennie, who lives with them. Catherine Templeton for Governor

Conservative. Outsider. Wife. Mother. Union-busting attorney. Reformer. Fighter. Textile worker. Successful businesswoman…..these are all words used to describe Catherine Templeton on her website.  Catherine is a South Carolina native and  was born in the Midlands. Catherine has worked, lived and went to the school in the Upstate and now lives in the Lowcountry. This is the latest in my series of interviews of the candidates for Governor.
