GOP fails to impeach Mayorkas; Some Senate Republicans question McConnell’s leadership and Ronna McDaniel is out (Ep 76)

The Republican-led House of Representatives in an afternoon vote yesterday failed to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over his handling of the crisis at the southern border – marking a major blow for House Republicans who have pushed for Mayorkas’ removal.

ALSO….. A group of Senate Republicans is growing weary of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s leadership and called for him to step down as they aired their grievances over what they called a “dead” bipartisan border bill slated for the first floor procedural vote on Wednesday.

….and while we are talking about GOP leadership…..or some would say “failed” GOP leadership…RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel is said to be stepping down after this month’s primary in SC.

The people of Nevada voted in their primaries…..both the democrats and republicans had primary elections….the democrats was pretty straight forward, but on the GOP side things were a bit complicated.

SC judicial elections are gridlocked as calls for much needed  judicial reform delays the election process of judges in the SC general assembly.
