Christmas Eve at First Pres Greenville

Dr. Richard Gibbons joined me for our annual Christmas talk, and as always, it was great to catch up with Dr. Gibbons. First Pres Greenville has many opportunities to celebrate Christmas with four Christmas Eve Services to choose from.

2:00pm – Afternoon Service

During this traditional service, we will enjoy Scripture readings and carols that celebrate the birth of Christ. Dr. Gibbons will give a Christmas message.

5:00pm – Children’s Service

Bring your little ones and come early for a seat. We’ll sing favorite carols, hear special music by the Children’s and Youth Choirs, light the Advent candle, and experience a live nativity. Senior Pastor Dr. Richard Gibbons will give a children’s message and all children in attendance will receive a special gift.
A nursery is available.

7:00pm – Candlelight Service

Your family will enjoy this service of Scripture readings and carols with wonderful Christmas music. Dr. Gibbons will give a Christmas message.
A nursery is available.

11:00pm – Watchnight Service

We’ll sing traditional carols and hear special music by the choir, soloists, and orchestra. Dr. Gibbons will give a Christmas message.

Homes for Life, An Outreach of Miracle Hill – seeks to provide shelter and support services to homeless young men ages 16-21. By ministering to their needs in a nurturing, structured environment that addresses education, employment and basic life skills training, Homes for Life is helping to provide the community with youth who are productive citizens.  Rich Sevilla, Director of Homes for Life, joined me to discuss their program and how the community can help.

Medical Marijuana: Is it Safe?
